Sheila (Desilets) Smith

Sheila Smith of Merrimack, NH passed on June 26, 2020 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston from complications after major heart surgery.

Sheila leaves behind her son, Joshua, her grandchild, Tilly plus her siblings Ken Desilets, Gerard Desilets, Elaine Tyzbir, Janice Lessard and Cindi Connell. She survived her first husband Alan Smith and her last husband Frank Pastore.

There was a private, family Graveside Burial Service in Dunstable, MA and she is now at rest next to her deceased husband, Frank, along with her mother, Hilda and father, Gerard Desilets.

A Memorial Service for Sheila will be celebrated at the Village Bible Church in Amherst, NH.   Date to be determined.

She was born on October 26, 1952 in Lowell Mass and received a BA in
History degree from Rivier College.  She started as a teacher in Groton and had a variety of jobs during her working career but last notably worked as a very successful realtor with Coldwell Banker at the Amherst and Bedford, NH offices.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support the Cardiovascular Wellness Fund at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
