Raymond R. Durand
DRACUT – Raymond R. Durand, age 50, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Boston after a long illness, with his family by his side.
Born in Lowell on July 11, 1970, he was a son of Rose (Richard) Durand of Dracut and Roger J. Durand and his wife Dottie of Dracut.
He was educated in the Tyngsborough school system and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School.
Prior to his illness, he worked in the maintenance department for UMASS Lowell.
Surviving him in addition to his parents and step mother are a sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Stephen Panek of Billerica; a brother, Jamie Durand of Lowell; two step sisters, Amy Cassidy and her husband David of Westford and Tracy Spencer and her husband Chris of Nashua; Raymond also leaves many dear friends.
