Kevin E. O’Connell

DRACUT – Kevin E. O’Connell, age 69, a resident of Dracut, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his home.  He was the beloved husband of Linda P. (Lepine) O’Connell, to whom he had been married to for 37 years.

Born in Stoneham, MA on April 23, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Gloria E. (Jennings) O’Connell.  He was a graduate of Arlington Catholic High School.  He then attended Lowell Technological Institute and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

He was a longtime employee of CCH Computax and Paychex before retiring in 2018.

Surviving him, in addition to his wife Linda, are two children, Matthew E. O’Connell and his wife Laura Sherris of Brimfield, MA and Hayley K. O’Connell of Shrewsbury, MA; two sisters, Karen Coveney and her late husband Edward Coveney of Sandwich, MA and Kathy Smith and her husband David Smith of Londonderry, NH; and a large extended family including many nieces and nephews.
