NASHUA – Janet M. (Ray) Veillette, a resident of Nashua, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, with her family by her side. She was the widow of the late Henry “Hank” J. Veillette who died in 2017.
Born in Boston on December 21, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Mary F. (Vincent) Ray.
Janet worked in the fuel assistance department for Community Teamwork Inc. for over 30 years.
She enjoyed bingo, Keno, scratch tickets and crocheting; but her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Megan Dutton and her husband Mike of Nashua; two sons and a daughter in law, Eric Finn and his wife Paula of Nashua and Marc Veillette and his companion Danielle of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren, Robert, Shyla, Payton and Hailey; a great granddaughter, Layla May Finn; a brother, Michael Ray of Hudson, NH; a sister and a brother-in-law, Patricia Ducharme and her husband John of Gardner, MA; a sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law, Norma J. Veillette of Lowell, Bruce E. Veillette of Lowell, Jean-Paul Veillette and his wife Carol of MO, William B. Veillette of Lowell and Jay Bowen of NH; also several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Nancy Bowen and Richard Ray.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Monday, April 5th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Her graveside committal service and burial will take place on Friday, April 9th at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
