William Joseph Richard Jr.

NASHUA NH – William J. Richard Jr., age 57, a resident of Nashua NH, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2019, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, with his family by his side.

Born in Putnam, CT on May 11, 1962, he was the son of the late William J. Richard Sr. and Lenora T. (Vitkauskas) Richard.

He was educated in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He will be remembered for his delicious pizza and his strong work ethic.

He was “The Best” Junk Hauler, honest, fair and kind.

He will now be forever together with his best friend “Dog Dog”

He will be missed by his siblings, Barbara Archambault, Beverley Bourassa and her husband Paul, Brenda D’Astous and her husband George, Brian Richard, Paisley Richard, Autumn Richard and Thomas Matte; his step mother, Valerie Richard; nieces and nephews, Joe and Rene Archambault, Lisa Archambault, Corey Bourassa, Adina Bourassa, Christopher D’Astous, Brianna D’Astous, Joseph D’Astous, Aria Archambault, Iridae Archambault; and his favorite uncle, Charles Bunker. 

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitations.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 13, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis Parish, Wheeler Rd., Dracut. Committal services will take place in the spring in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.
