Loving husband, father and grandfather

Peter L. Sievert, age 69, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at his home, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Laura M. (Morel) Sievert, with whom he had been married to for 45 years.

Born in Winthrop, MA on April 5, 1950, he was the son of the late William H. and Eleanor A. (Blanchard) Sievert.  He was educated in the Billerica school system and was a graduate of Billerica High School.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a systems analyst for Fresenius Medical Care.

Peter enjoyed reading, scuba diving, traveling and cross country trips on his motorcycle with his wife and friends, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his three grandchildren.

Surviving him in addition to his wife Laura, are a son and daughter in law, Matthew S. and Erica Sievert of Hudson, NH; a daughter, Nicole E. Sievert of Tyngsborough; three grandchildren, Hailey M. Sievert, Gavin P. Sievert and Lilliana E. Sievert; a sister and brother in law, Stephanie O’Dell and her husband Ed of Billerica; a niece, Tracey Rania of Rockport, MA; and his in laws, Carol Gagnon of Dracut, Fred Morel of Lowell and Bob Morel of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.

Peter was also the brother of the late Douglas and William Sievert.
