Pauline C. (Desruisseaux) Wagner

 Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother

 

Pauline C. (Desruisseaux) Wagner, age 80, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018, with her loving family by her side.  She resided at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford, where she was fondly referred to as Memere by the entire staff.  She was the wife of the late Richard “Dick” Wagner.

 

Born in Lowell on September 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Simeon T. and Eva D. (Perron) Desruisseaux.

 

She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, where she served as class president.  As a long term member of the former Ste. Jeanne d’Arc parish, she was actively involved in the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  She later served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph Shrine.  Pauline was a woman of strong faith who was a recipient of the Eugene de Mazenod award.

 

Prior to her retirement, Pauline was employed as an office manager for the Oblates of Mary Immaculate for many years.  She loved her family and always enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Donald R. and Linda M. Wagner of Dracut; Two daughters and a son in law, Diane M. Lambert and her fiancé Scott LoManto of Dracut and Joanne L. Lavoie and her husband Timothy of Lowell; five grandchildren, Brian Lavoie and his wife Kim; Nicole Lavoie and her significant other Travis McGrath, Raven Black (Katie), Kelly Lambert, and Richard Wagner; two great grandchildren, Jacob Lavoie and Wyatt Lavoie; a sister and brother in law, Lorraine M. Dubuque and her husband Conrad of Lowell; her brothers in law and sisters in law, Roland and Irene Wagner of Westford, Robert and Marie Wagner of Lowell, Lucille Wagner of Florida, Paul Wagner of Florida, Philippe and Jeannette Wagner of Wells, Maine, Irene Wagner of Lowell; also many dear cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

She was also the sister in law of the late Albert Wagner, Normand Wagner and Maryanne Wagner, and also the mother in law of the late Paul F. Lambert.

 

 

WAGNER – Pauline C. Wagner.  Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.  Funeral Tuesday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 30 Grafton St., Lowell. Committal services will follow in the Chapel at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Holy Family Parish, 30 Grafton St., Lowell, MA 01852 or the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
