Mark Edward St. John

Mark Edward St. John, 57, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, surrounded by loved ones after a tough battle with cancer. Born in Lowell, MA on January 9, 1962, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Harriet A. (Brown) St. John.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran having served from 1979 until his honorable discharge in 1982. He earned the rank of Corporal and was awarded a Rifle Expert Badge, Sea Service Deployment Badge and the Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal.

Mark was an avid hunter and bass fisherman and he loved having his dog Kukla by his side.

He is survived by his 3 children, Cassandra (St. John) Wickson and her husband Sean; Mark E. St. John Jr. (Alyssa Manda); and Chelsea St. John all of Englewood, FL. Three grandchildren, Olivia Wickson, Blake Wickson, and Penelope St. John of Englewood FL. His sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Thomas Duffy of Groton, MA. His step-children, Kaitlan Pergakis, Kayla O’Donnell and her husband Shane, Justin Maguire, and Thomas Burlamachi all of Dracut, MA. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his baby brother Jeffrey St. John and great friend James C. “Chick” Manousos.

Relatives and friends will be received at Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, MA on Saturday, July 13th from 12 to 2PM.
