Leah V. Metivier

Leah V. (Covell) Metivier, age 67, a resident of Woonsocket, RI, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.  

Born in Boston on January 12, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Barbara (Scannell) Covell.

She was currently employed by BAE Systems in Nashua, NH. Leah had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and adored by many. She was a hard worker, loved the warm weather, the beach, she also enjoyed bowling, puzzles, road trips and yard sales.

She is survived by a daughter, Carrie Noviello of Dracut; two granddaughters, Sydney and Sophia Bradley of Dracut; her boyfriend Lloyd Amesbury and his family of Woonsocket, RI; and her dog Chloe.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Tuesday, May 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
